We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for construction management, a strong background in working with the Division of the State Architect (DSA), and 2+ years of relevant experience, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee all phases of construction projects, from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to DSA requirements and standards.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and client expectations.
  • Act as a liaison between architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources, proactively identifying and resolving any issues to minimize delays and cost overruns.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project plans and DSA standards.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Assist in value engineering and constructability reviews to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure that all work meets the company’s quality standards and the client’s expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • DSA Expertise: Proven experience working on Division of the State Architect (DSA) projects, including familiarity with DSA processes, standards, and approvals.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field . Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar), MS Office Suite, and scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, codes, and regulations.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
