Project Engineer

Job Responsibilities Macmahon has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join the team at Telfer Gold Mine. Telfer Gold Mine is located in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia and produces copper and gold.  About the role: All aspects of open pit engineering support including mine planning, design, scheduling, drill & blast support and equipment selection. Define and monitor progress of daily and weekly operating plans. Generate operating mine and infrastructure designs as required. Provide, information, data and plans in a clear and concise manner to permit successful daily operation of a mine. Develop, contribute and initiate Continuous Improvements to the management and operation of the site. Assist site personnel with management of as required.  About you Previous experience in a similar role. Tertiary degree - Mining Engineer or equivalent. Previous exposure to either hard rock surface or underground mining projects. Demonstrated understanding of drill and blast designs and techniques. Short to medium term planning skills.
