Job Description
We’re looking for a Project Engineer to join our clients team.
This role is responsible for delivering transport projects that enhance safety, encourage sustainable travel, and improve transport infrastructure.

- \nRates: £24.75 per hour PAYE / £31.18 per hour Umbrella

Your Role:
- \n
- \nLead on the delivery of transport and highways projects, ensuring alignment with Camden’s Transport Strategy.
- \nWork closely with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to manage projects efficiently.
- \nEnsure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including CDM requirements.
- \nLiaise with local communities, businesses, and councillors, keeping them informed of project progress.
- \nManage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring cost-effective delivery of schemes.
- \nMonitor and report on project milestones, identifying and resolving any issues.

What We’re Looking For:
- \n
- \nExperience in transport or civil engineering project delivery.
- \nKnowledge of highways, road safety, and sustainable transport schemes.
- \nUnderstanding of contract management, including financial planning and compliance.
- \nStrong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience liaising with contractors, councillors, and the public.
- \nGood working knowledge of health and safety regulations, including CDM.
- \nDegree in Engineering or Transportation (or equivalent experience).
