This role involves working on the latest product and process developments, benchmarking technologies, and enhancing machining automation for a variety of industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machining processes (turning, milling, and part handling), automation integration, and control systems.



Key Responsibilities:



Market & Process Analysis: Evaluate market trends and customer challenges to drive new automation solutions.



Product & Technology Development: Work on integrating complementary technologies such as measurement, work holding, and feedback systems.



Project Management: Oversee projects from initial concept to completion, ensuring on-time delivery of solutions.



Technical Support & Training: Provide expert guidance to internal teams and European partners.



Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams, external stakeholders, and engineering departments to develop best-in-class solutions.



Required Skills & Experience:



Strong machining knowledge – including turning, milling, and part handling.



Experience in process planning and machining development for automation.



Programming expertise – knowledge of EIA/ISO programming and Mazatrol is beneficial.



Understanding of Macro programming, PLCs, and software control (advantageous).



Excellent problem-solving & communication skills – ability to interact with internal teams, dealers, and customers.



Engineering qualifications – HNC/D in Engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience).



Additional Information:



Office-based role with occasional travel to subsidiaries and customer sites.



Open to candidates without all qualifications but with strong development potential.
