Project Engineer (Battery)
Our client, a manufacturer and developer of flex solutions (including cell contacting systems) for EV vehicle battery modules is currently looking to hire a Project Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading engineering projects related to flex solutions for EV vehicle battery modules.
The Project Engineer will:
Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful project completion.
Oversee the design, development, and testing of flex solutions, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Lead engineering projects focused on flex solutions for EV vehicle battery modules, including cell contacting systems for voltage and temperature control.
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for proposed engineering projects.
Document project specifications, procedures, and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
The Project Engineer will have:
Experience with batteries and/or battery components is essential: Candidates must have prior experience working with batteries or their related components to be considered for this role.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in engineering roles within the automotive industry.
Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with customers.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles and automotive industry standards.
Project management experience, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management.
