Project Engineer (consumer electronics)

Job Requirements Minimum of 3 years background in the development of consumer electronics. Candidate "must have" experience in various wireless solutions for different devices. Ability to carry out electrical testing of semi finished / finished products, such as power supplies, gaming devices, battery devices, against schematics and electrical specifications. Fluent in spoken and written English is essential as is Mandarin. Experience in Excel, Word, Powerpoint software is essential. Acceptance that travel to China is necessary in the fulfilment of the job.Job Purpose: Reporting to the Head of Development, the purpose of the role is to have a comprehensive engineering and technical management of projects in order to ensure that products are delivered on time and to the specification required.Key Responsibilities: Manage projects from start to point of manufacturing. Review and manage projects to ensure that they are `on time’. Work closely with the Quality department to ensure that products are in compliance with Quality and legal requirements. Electrical and Technical review of samples/products received during the project instigating corrective action with the manufacturing partner. Proactively communicate with our HK, French and UK development teams.
