Project Engineer - Fiberglass Composite

JOB DESCRIPTION NOTE: Please ONLY apply if you have sufficient experience and skills required as per job description below. Job Summary. Serve a versatile technical resource for FGS. Provide required technical support to Sales, Plant Operations & Field Service team as needed. Participate in internal & external audits, client meetings. Perform Engineering Analysis, Design Calculations, Product Drawings, Tooling drawings as needed. Ability to supervise outsourced engineering activities ensuring planned delivery schedules. Works together with Customer, Contractor, End-User, FGS Operations, Quality, Logistics, Customer Service and Sales teams to ensure project is executed to customer satisfaction. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for ensuring real time updates on orders and projects to sales, customer service, operations, and customers. Provide required technical support to Plant operations. Develop & maintain product costing program for FGS products. Provide required costing inputs to Customer Service / Sales team as needed. Interact with client, agents & FGS employees to ensure that all deliverables are in line with project requirements. Support Engineering & Project Team as needed for successful & seamless project execution. Perform engineering calculations and present results for items related to fiberglass pipe products, including pipe properties, design verifications, stress analysis, flow analysis, surge analysis & pipe support design. Lead Technical department for customer & external QMS audits. Act as link between Client, Sales. Operations, Finance & Field Service team. Ensure that customer satisfaction is achieved during project execution. Bidding Support- Work with Sales & Application Engineering to ensure that FGS product is not quoted for service parameters outside the product limits. Verify & ensure that proposed order is executable by Plant Operations, thus ensuring that execution risks if any are identified in bid stage. Other duties as assigned by Manager. Experience in Piping design, CAESAR, AUTOCAD, Solid Works is a plus. Experience in design, manufacturing, installation & engineering of Fiber Glass Piping, Pipelines , FRP poles is a plus. Must have a minimum of 2 years of Piping / Pipeline engineering or Projects experience in International Oil & Gas Projects. Proficiency in English.
