Project Engineer - Mechanical / Chemical / Project Management
Our client is a leader in chemical materials.The Project Engineer will be reporting directly to the Engineering Manager and will be responsible for the following key functions: Being responsible for managing a project both local and regional projects (New technology, Civil work, machine installation, plant rehabilitation, factory automation, production process development, etc.). The local project is covering of any process improvement & development, feasibility study, and making proposals for investment, SHE requirements, and other requirements from the site Assisting with product development.Controlling project costs by managing expenditures (CAPEX, expenditures, tooling, samples) and updating investment planning.The regional project covers the improvement project or investment project approved by the board committee. The project management shall manage all resources for a project such as manpower, materials, overhead, cost, and timeline. It has to work across the function or a country.Conducting, initiating, and supervising development tasks following company schedules.Interfacing with customers and suppliers.Planning of projects in coordination with department heads.Creating project management of both customer and internal projects.Organizing product and concept workshops (internal & external).Issuing project applications, including team structures. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related field.At least 5 years of management experience within a large-scale process-related manufacturing environment.Ability to learn/continuous improvement qualifications and delivery experience.Possess excellent problem-solving skills with strong leadership and negotiation skills.Good command of the English language both written and spoken, and an understanding of the German language would be a plus.
