Rapid is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Manager/Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects, characterized by innovation and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have anywhere between 3-10 years of experience in project management or engineering within the construction industry and will excel in overseeing all phases of project execution.

Some Key Responsibilities

- Project Planning: Understand comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
  
- Team Leadership: Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, fostering collaboration and maintaining open communication channels.

- Quality Control: Implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance protocols throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

- Budget Management: Monitor project finances, prepare cost estimates, and manage expenditures to maintain budgetary controls and optimize resource allocation.

- Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.

- Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports, including key performance indicators, to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.

- Problem Solving: Address and resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle, employing critical thinking and effective decision-making skills.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3-10 years of relevant experience in project management or engineering within the construction sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, and safety regulations.
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
