Project Engineering Manager
Job descriptionJoin Altrad Babcock's rapidly growing Major Projects division in Teesside! We’re seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead and manage all engineering aspects of multi-discipline EPC projects from start to finish. Reporting to the Senior Project Engineering Manager, you will oversee the full project cycle from mobilization to completion, ensuring that Project Execution Plans are developed and implemented in line with Altrad's Integrated Management Systems. Your role will include managing project controls, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical, Process, or Chemical Engineering (or an HNC/HND at a minimum), with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Chartered Engineer status or APM/PMI qualifications are highly desirable. You should have a proven track record in managing multi-disciplined EPC projects and be adept at ensuring compliance with Quality Policies and Standard Operating Procedures. Experience in Process/Energy transition plant design and construction is essential, and familiarity with the Oil & Gas, Renewables, Chemical, and Pharma sectors is a plus. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills are crucial, as you will be responsible for effectively managing project changes and ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
