Your Role:
As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in shaping high-quality projects by preparing accurate estimates and managing preconstruction efforts. Your contributions will drive success across various projects..

Responsibilities:

• Assist the project team throughout bid processes by managing incoming bid information and preparing detailed pricing for various disciplines.
• Represent the company at pre-bid meetings, site walks, and surveys.
• Review design documents to identify trades and prepare comprehensive scope sheets.
• Collaborate with subcontractor partners, ensuring clear communication and accurate pricing.
• Develop an understanding of material and system unit costs and buildout square footage costs.
• Administer preconstruction efforts from start to finish, including invitations to bid, organizing subcontractor submissions, and tracking key dates/deliverables.
• Maintain internal historical costs and project databases.
• Support teams with preconstruction materials for presentations.
• Actively participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Prequalify subcontractors and maintain subcontractor partner databases.

Qualifications:

• Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel), Bluebeam, Planswift, Building Connected, Procore.
  • Familiarity with Cosential, Microsoft Project, and various FTP/document sites.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining a big-picture perspective.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with Owners, Architects, and subcontractor partners.
  • Dependable, diligent, and a proactive team player.

• Experience:

  • Interior construction project-related experience.
  • Participation in industry organizations.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA and other standards.
• Regular and punctual attendance is essential.
