The Group provides more than 70 diverse services, including the Rakuten Ichiba Internet shopping mall, e-commerce services such as the Rakuten Travel booking site, financial services such as Rakuten Bank, cell phone communications, and professional sports.BusinessIn the Commerce & Marketing Company, the Business Innovation Department is mainly engaged in travel-related services, such as accommodation business, accommodation reservation sites and accommodation distribution services.As its main business, Rakuten STAY, Inc. operates accommodation facilities named "Rakuten STAY" with the following concept.Brand PurposeTo make life more enjoyable through STAY.Brand VisionTo be a leading brand that creates new lodging experiences.Department OverviewThis position is assigned to the Project Management Group, Opening Preparation Office, Rakuten STAY Business Division.The Project Management Group is responsible for the overall management and promotion of the new Rakuten STAY development project, from the design phase to the opening.The manager is responsible for the schedule and the overall project budget up to the opening.The position is responsible for the overall management of the project to ensure that it proceeds as planned, and is involved not only with internal stakeholders, but also with many external stakeholders, such as design and construction companies.In 2023, several Rakuten STAYs were opened in Yatsugatake, Atami, Nikko and other locations. In parallel, we are promoting multiple projects across the country that are scheduled to open in the future.Position:Why We HireRecruitment of additional employees for business expansionPosition DetailsProject management of accommodation developments (mainly new builds) up to opening.*This includes schedule management (construction process, etc.) and budget management.Specific duties- Overall project management (schedule management, budget management, issue management, etc.)- Ordering and arrangement of systems, FFEs, OSEs, etc. necessary for the opening of the business.*The selection of FFEs is handled by in-house designers.- Design and preparation for post-opening operations.- Correspondence relating to the acquisition of inn licences.The company offers a fast-paced environment in which you can take on a variety of challenges in a rapidly growing business, making it suitable for people with a high appetite for growth and a strong spirit of challenge.
