Seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Construction Project Manager to join our team and manage a wide range of essential responsibilities.

Job Description:

As a Fire Protection Construction Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our fire protection projects.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Project complete oversight: Lead the design, purchasing, field and customer management through project closeout.
  • Specialization in Fire Protection: Utilize your specialized knowledge of fire protection systems, codes, and best practices to oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems, fire alarms, suppression systems, and more.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage project budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges in projects and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth progress.
  • Client and Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with customers, general contractors, and local jurisdiction in order to build strong working relationships.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets the required quality and safety standards and conduct regular inspections to verify compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A strong background in fire protection, with a deep understanding of fire protection systems designs, installation and materials.
  • NICET and NFPA certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience managing construction projects with a focus on fire protection.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to coordinate complex projects.
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • A commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of project management
