Role Analysis: Temenos Migration Project Manager


This role is a 12 Month FTC


We have a role with one of our banking clients looking for a Migration Project Manager, they are looking for someone to help migrate from a legacy system to Temenos and would be looking for a T24 Project Manager to assist them with this process.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight: Manage the bank-side project management function for the Temenos T24/Transact migration and modernization project.
  • Partner Management: Oversee the efforts of the partner company and utilize internal resources effectively.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in JBase to SQL, TAFC+ to TAFJ migration, and desktop client versions.
  • Project Delivery: Ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline, utilizing best practices.


Required Skills and Experience

  • PMO Expertise: Proven experience in PMO management, particularly with Temenos T24/Transact version migration.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of JBase to SQL, TAFC+ to TAFJ migration, and desktop client versions.
  • Project Management: Extensive experience in managing IT projects, focusing on successful delivery in smaller financial institutions.
  • Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership, team management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Financial Systems: Familiarity with financial systems, software, and technologies.
  • Project Management Methodologies: In-depth understanding of IT project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Risk Management: Experience identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks, especially in the financial industry.
  • Certifications: PMP or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with UK Financial Regulations.
