Exciting Project Manager opportunity in Crawley! We are searching for a Project Manager for a leading civil engineering firm renowned for its expertise in civil works, reinforced concrete, and marine/heavy civils projects. The successful candidate will manage and deliver multiple projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee civil engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring all projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Plan and program projects using tools such as MS Project and Project Commander.
- Apply your expertise in reinforced concrete, piling, and marine/heavy civils to achieve project milestones.
- Ensure effective cost control and manage changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement NEC and ICC contract standards.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience managing civil engineering projects.
- Background in site engineering.
- Proven expertise in civil engineering works, particularly reinforced concrete and piling.
- Experience in marine/heavy civils is a strong advantage.
- Engineering qualification is .
- Proficiency in planning and programming software, including MS Project and Project Commander.
- Strong commercial awareness, with experience in cost control and change management.
- Familiarity with NEC and ICC contracts.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
