Project Manager
Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with a leading nuclear construction company to recruit a Project Manager on a long-term contract for its Hinkley Point C site.
Due to increased scope our client is recruiting for Project Manager to lead a team delivering various packages of work, including reinforced concrete structures and steelwork.
The Project Manager role comes with a day rate of £550 - £600 (inside IR35) with a contract duration of 6 months.
Key skills
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones in consultation with key stakeholders.
Oversee the construction phases, ensuring all works meet safety-critical standards.
Lead and motivate a multi-disciplinary design, ensuring alignment with project goals
Manage client relationships, ensuring their requirements are met while adhering to safety and technical specifications.
Ensure all construction activities meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including designs, safety assessments, change orders, and site reports
Professional qualifications & skills
Degree in Engineering (ideally civils), Project Management, or a related field
5+ years of project management experience, ideally within Civils, Heavy Industrial structures, reinforced concrete structures.
Demonstrated experience managing the full lifecycle of complex projects from design through to on-site installation.
Thorough knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices relevant to safety-critical industries.
