The ideal candidate will oversee project management operations, from preparing bids and quotes to coordinating with various departments such as sales, purchasing, and production. Key Responsibilities: Project Management & Coordination : Act as the job boss, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Inside Sales & Client Engagement : Work closely with the inside sales team to understand client needs and prepare comprehensive bids and proposals. Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the project duration. Bid Preparation : Prepare competitive bids and quotes for clients, ensuring all specifications and requirements are accurately captured. Review and revise bids as necessary to meet client expectations and project goals. Purchasing Coordination : Collaborate with the purchasing department to source materials and equipment necessary for each project. Ensure timely procurement of quality materials while managing costs effectively. Job Cost Determination : Analyze and determine job costs, including labor, materials, and overhead. Develop cost-effective strategies to enhance profitability while maintaining quality and compliance. Quoting Projects : Prepare detailed project quotes, working closely with engineering and production teams to ensure accuracy. Present quotes to clients and address any questions or concerns. Cross-functional Team Collaboration : Liaise with engineering, production, quality, and finance teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and delivery schedules. Quality Assurance : Ensure all projects comply with company standards, customer specifications, and industry regulations. Monitor project quality and implement corrective actions when necessary. Continuous Improvement : Identify areas for process improvement within the project management workflow. Recommend and implement changes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
