Russell Roofing Project Manager Role:

Providing superior customer service and installation services has ensured Russell Roofing customers will continue to utilize our services repeatedly while recommending our services to others. As a Russell Roofing Project Manager, you will provide superior customer service and communication while helping inform our customers of the best materials, material specifications, and installation practices. The Project Manager position encompasses multiple facets: customer relations, networking, business acquisition, installation support, and continued education in best practices.
Project Manager / Sales Model:
The Project Manager model is based on building relationships with our customers first and foremost. This allows each Project Manager to grow a particular territory they are assigned to by networking within the community. Project Managers are responsible for keeping open communication with potential customers and our existing customers. This includes assisting our customers before, during, and, most importantly, after installation. To best serve our customers, Project Managers must work closely with our Production department to ensure we meet and / or exceed customer expectations through contract execution and communication.
Referral Based Leads:
Russell Roofing is an inbound lead source company. To increase leads and grow territories, Project Managers are responsible for providing all customers with accurate and timely information, estimates, and recommendations that meet their needs. In addition, Project Managers are responsible for the following to increase our referral base:
- Job signs on active installs and services
- Job sign campaigns throughout the community at primary locations
- Customer reviews
- Canvassing active installs
- Customer satisfaction forms
- Customer referrals
- Project photos
Project Manager Philosophy:
- The Russell Roofing Project Manager Philosophy stems from the referral-based approach that has allowed the company to maintain ongoing relationships with our customers. This is a Customer-Centric Model, putting our customer’s convenience, challenges, and goals at the forefront. This model focuses on building relationships by conversing with our prospects to understand their needs and ultimately offer appropriate solutions. Instead of making presentations, you’ll hold meaningful conversations about how your solutions can be modified to each of our customers’ requirements. Project Manager guidelines that follow this model:
- Open communication with our customers
- Thorough inspections (Exterior, Interior, Photos on every appointment, Ladder up to every roofline)
- Consultative approach when reviewing your inspection concerns and providing solutions that meet their goals
- Providing all customers with warrantable solutions
- Cultivating relationships with all our customers before, during, and after installation, including previous customers in their territory
- Taking every opportunity to meet personally with our customers to assist them better
Sales Compensation Package:
- Full medical, dental, vision, 401k/retirement options after 90 days
- Base salary during training only
- Gas card (upon completion of training)
- Vehicle stipend (upon completion of training)
- Toll reimbursement (upon completion of training)
- Ladder reimbursement (upon completion of training)
- Drone reimbursement (upon completion of training)
- Ladder rack reimbursement (upon completion of training)
- iPad or Laptop provided by Russell Roofing
- Phone stipend
- Sliding commission scale based on final job costing and review by Management
- Quarterly bonus potential
- Yearly bonus potential
Sales Candidate Traits:
We are looking for a dynamic and driven sales professional to join our team in the construction and roofing sector. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a coachable attitude, and the ability to work independently. With a minimum of two years of proven success in outside sales, preferably within the construction industry, you should have a strong track record of exceeding targets and building client relationships. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has an entrepreneurial mindset, and has a solid understanding of roofing systems.
