At Children’s Crisis Treatment Center (CCTC), we are dedicated to addressing the impact of adverse childhood experiences. We believe that despite tremendous challenges, children can heal from psychological injuries. The Project Manager will report to the Director of Best Practices and Strategic Initiatives and manage new and ongoing projects associated with CCTC’s mission, vision, and strategic plan.  The Project Manager’s primary responsibilities are to plan, coordinate, and facilitate the activities of designated projects to ensure that the goals and objectives of the project are met within the prescribed time frame, quality standards, and funding parameters. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with various project team members and external partners to manage each project.

Summary of Essential Functions: 

  • Manage and coordinate projects from initiation to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, transition, and closing phases
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against established timelines and milestones
  • Coordinate project resources, including cross functional team members, external partners, vendors, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates, address concerns, and manage expectations
  • Apply new skills effectively, and willing and able to disseminate and train others at CCTC on Project Management methodologies
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues and implement corrective actions as necessary
  • Plan and manage project processes and workflows to ensure timely and efficient progress
  • Facilitate agendas, meetings, track tasks, issues, and action items, and conduct necessary follow-up activities
  • Develop and implement strategies and feedback loops for communication across teams and organization
  • Prepare briefings, talking points, presentations, and proposals for internal and external meetings
  • Continuously monitor project performance and workflow, track, and report on project milestones to ensure health of the project
  • Create and maintain files, review drafts and finished documents for accuracy, including documents of a sensitive and confidential nature

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Business, Project Management, Social Services, Public Health, or Public Administration.
  • Three to five years of project management experience including full life cycle projects.
  • Demonstrates capability and knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities while adhering to deadlines.
  • Excellent planning, analytical, organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate project plans, updates, and expectations to various internal and external project team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong customer service . The ability to work effectively with diverse cultures including various level team members, those CCTC serves, other provider agencies, payers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills that serve to support CCTC’s mission and vision.
  • COVID-19 vaccination required.
  • CAPMP certification or commitment to attaining upon hiring within 6 months 

    Technical/Computer Skills:      

    • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Teams.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
