About the Role:

As a Project Manager at HERCO, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of projects from beginning to end. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are met. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, electrical or mechanical engineering
  • 3-5+ years of experience in project engineer and/or project management roles
  • Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Project / MS Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry - machinery, installation of machine equipment, cell automation, maintenance or service sectors
  • Must work onsite at Auburn Hills, Michigan headquarters location
  • Enhanced MI driver's license or current passport
  • Able to travel U.S. / Canada without restrictions
  • No sponsorship available

Qualifications:

  • PMP or CAPM certification
  • Experience managing projects with cross-functional teams
  • German a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Coordinate project activities and ensure that all team members, vendors, contractors, stakeholders are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines
  • Monitor project progress and proactively make adjustments as necessary to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Communicate project status and issues to stakeholders, including senior management

Skills:

In this role, you will use your expertise in project coordination, project planning, project scheduling, and project documentation to ensure that projects are completed successfully. You will also use your knowledge of project management software and project life cycle to manage multiple projects and service tickets simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Additionally, your ability to analyze data and make informed decisions will be critical for ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.


Business hours: 7:30am - 5pm = 42.50 hours a week onsite - excludes 1 hour lunch.
