Project Manager
Role Overview: Take charge of large-scale utility electrical construction projects, guiding them from initial planning stages to successful completion while ensuring profitability. Key Responsibilities: Lead all phases of project execution, including planning, design, budgeting, and scheduling, to ensure efficiency and timeliness. Collaborate with the Safety Department to enforce safety protocols and maintain exceptional safety standards. Build and nurture client relationships by delivering superior performance and identifying opportunities for future work. Participate in preconstruction meetings with estimating and prefabrication teams to establish project goals and strategies. Consistently meet deadlines while surpassing client expectations. Coordinate weekly and long-term manpower needs with the Division VP and Operations Manager. Manage BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes in coordination with the designated department. Partner with the Procurement Department to handle equipment orders, material purchases, and vendor logistics. Establish and monitor cost-coded budgets based on project estimates. Work closely with field teams to optimize workflow, enhance efficiency, and maintain project schedules. Oversee project closeouts, identifying lessons learned to improve future operations. Employment Type: Full-Time Level: Manager Experience Required: 5–7 years What We’re Looking For: 5–7 years of experience in electrical project management. Proven expertise in leading electrical construction efforts on projects such as substations, power plants, T&D (Transmission & Distribution) systems, and transportation infrastructure. Strong understanding of electrical construction principles, materials, and processes. Familiarity with safety standards and protocols.
