E-commerce Project Manager
Contract Role / Maternity cover. Possibility of full-time employment upon completion.
We are a fast-growing agency looking for a superstar Project Manager with proven e-commerce experience and an appetite for building best-in-class websites. The role is a contract position for six months of maternity cover, at which point it will be reviewed for extension.
The role will require you to plan, organise, and facilitate e-commerce website builds throughout the full project lifecycle. Our client portfolio includes well-known brands such as Topps Tiles, Oliver Bonas, MyFujiFilm, and Agent Provocateur, with many more clients across various sectors, including Fashion, Homeware, Luxury, Gifting, Outdoor, Food, and Charity.

Location
We have a trendy office in a lively location near Tower Bridge and our sociable team enjoys heading out for an after-work wind-down drink. We have taken a flexible approach to remote working so that you can enjoy the best of both worlds, with two days in the office per week. The role could negotiably be full-time or 4 days per week.
Summary of responsibilities
You will be joining during a period of rapid growth and therefore you should be someone who learns fast and is ready to lead the delivery of large Magento 2 website build projects. Each of these projects tends to span 6 - 8 months, with budgets in the hundreds of thousands, and plenty of challenges and sophisticated solutions. We need a can-do candidate that will hit the ground running.

- Managing multiple website builds at various stages concurrently
- Understanding project business needs, goals, and objectives, and creating a project plan to deliver successfully
- Maintaining excellent client relationships, and reporting to senior stakeholders
- Creating and maintaining project timelines
- Responding, tracking, and being solution-focused to changing requirements or priorities from the client
- Managing project budgets and identifying areas of risk
- Facilitating creative workshops with the client and the design team
- Organising and chairing all project meetings to ensure the right people are having the right conversations at the right time
- Understanding technical briefs, liaising with internal business analysts and developers and clearly extrapolating actions and responsibilities
- Being far-sighted and guiding the client on what they need to do by when to ensure the project stays on track
- Managing designers, developers, and business analysts
- Running weekly project calls with your clients
- Providing a weekly project summary to the Head of Project Management
- Using Jira for sprint planning and task management - ensuring the project remains tidy and organised.
- Using ClickUp for client and project management, ensuring it’s utilised, maintained and remains organised

- Delivering projects on time, to brief, and on budget
- Client satisfaction rating in post-project feedback for;
- Quality of communication
- Quality of the end product
- Overall project-level satisfaction
Skills and experience
- +3 years of project management experience
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end website design and building projects
- Experience working with Magento 2 is preferable
- A clear communicator to internal teams and clients
- Effective client stakeholder management experience
- Good technical website understanding
- Understanding of PM methodologies, particularly Scrum
- Use of project management systems, particularly JIRA
- Bright, ambitious, and looking to progress in a fast-paced, challenging work environment
- Well-organised and a logical thinker
- Passionate about e-commerce and all things digital
- Excellent English communication skills
- Naturally well-organised, reliable, and enjoys working in a methodical way
