Project Manager
Job Description
Nexos is looking for a talented Project Manager to join our team in Aberdeen on a permanent basis.
In this role, you will support the Contract Delivery Team Lead by overseeing Engineering Down and Clean project scopes. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing work scopes through Define/Execute, Construction, Commissioning (if required), and Close-out phases, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Developing and approving scopes of work, estimates, budgets, and schedules with the Delivery Manager and client.
- Preparing initiation budgets in collaboration with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams.
- Issuing work scope estimates and schedules to clients.
- Leading and coordinating Project Engineers.
- Organising kick-off meetings for project initiation and execution phases.
- Attending 12-week planning meetings.
- Assisting the Delivery Manager with resource planning for engineering and construction.
- Supporting performance appraisals and salary reviews for contract delivery staff.
- Acting as the primary client focal point for cross-project issues.
What we’re looking for:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager.
- Extensive knowledge of brownfield modification projects.
- A solid understanding of the decommissioning process.
- A degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Strong team management experience.
- Excellent commercial awareness.
