Project Manager
CTG is seeking to fill a Project Manager opening for our client in Anchorage, AK. Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Project Manager with a strong focus on leadership, documentation, and collaboration to join our team. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment and can take ownership of project planning, execution, and delivery. While experience in financial, security, or IT projects is helpful, the emphasis is on a proactive, flexible personality with the ability to manage small to medium work efforts and work effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors. Key Responsibilities: Lead small to medium projects, ensuring requirements gathering, design, and sign-offs are completed effectively. Develop and maintain project timelines, dependencies, and documentation. Collaborate with IT project teams and vendors to drive projects forward, ensuring deliverables are met. Partner with QA teams for initial test planning and execution. Create, update, and maintain project documentation, adapting to feedback and evolving project needs. Demonstrate strong leadership by taking initiative to develop drafts, ideas, and plans, and refining them collaboratively with the team. Identify and escalate risks or challenges appropriately, leveraging established escalation paths. Exhibit a strong sense of awareness, ensuring team members provide the necessary inputs and addressing gaps proactively. Qualifications: Proven experience managing projects with a focus on documentation, collaboration, and adaptability. Strong leadership skills with the ability to navigate a dynamic and evolving work environment. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on creating clear and comprehensive documentation. Proactive and initiative-driven approach to project management, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to work well with diverse teams, fostering a positive and productive environment. Skills: Background in financial, security, or IT projects. Familiarity with managing vendor relationships and IT project teams. Experience with project management tools and methodologies. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
