The position:

Salter Grange is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead the delivery of a c.£200m, 600-unit residential development in the London Borough of Newham. This significant project features a reinforced concrete (RC) frame structure across four blocks, comprising a mix of market sale, build-to-rent, and affordable housing, with a semi-basement and high-quality brick facades.



Key responsibilities:



Oversee the construction and delivery of a large-scale residential development, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards

Develop and manage the project programme, monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions where necessary

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and effective communication

Lead and coordinate site and project teams, ensuring alignment with objectives and maintaining a collaborative working environment

Ensure that all construction works, including RC frame, semi-basement, and brick facades, meet the required specifications and standards

Uphold the highest health and safety standards on-site, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies

Monitor project costs, drive value engineering opportunities, and ensure financial targets are achieved

Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring proactive resolution of any challengesRequirements:

Proven track record of delivering large-scale (£50m+) residential projects, including RC frame new builds with mixed tenure

Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field

Strong understanding of reinforced concrete construction, basement structures, and brick facade finishes
