Project Manager

About the Role We are looking for a passionate Localization Program Manager with Arabic proficiency to join our team for a 6-month contract. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting an initiative for the MENA region, working closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Product, Marketing, Creative, Customer Trust. Responsibilities Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize Right-to-Left (RTL) support, identify and resolve internationalization issues relating to the Arabic . Update and maintain the terminology base and Arabic Style Guide. Oversee the translation and linguistic QA processes to ensure linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness, fixing issues as they are reported. Work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Product, Marketing, Creative, Customer Trust, and Partnerships. Educate internal teams and stakeholders on MENA-specific considerations. Required Skills - 5 years of localization project/program management and/or translation experience. Strong in verbal and written Arabic as well as an understanding of the Saudi Arabia market and cultural sensitivities. Experience managing stakeholders, and cross-organizational dependencies. Experience managing localization vendors as it relates to translation and localization QA. Experience in video games and/or localization sectors, be it on the client or vendor side. Skills Knowledge of Smartling (or similar translation management system).
