Project Manager

Airswift has been tasked by a major petrochemical client to seek a Project Manager to work within their facilities in Victoria, TX for an initial 12-month contract with benefits. 

Within this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing small capital projects to deliver timely, economical, and safe completion. 

Daily responsibilities:

• Define and coordinate the work of engineering disciplines, both in-house and contract.
• Review and approve drawings including flow sheets, isos, layouts, etc, and vendor submittals.
• Prepare procedures, specifications, and bid packages.
• Specify, requisitions, and expedite materials and equipment.
• Coordinate construction and turnover to operations.

Previous education and experience required:

• 5-10 years of project engineering experience in the chemical industry (petrochemical, pharmaceuticals, etc.)
• Must be capable of handling multiple assignments with projects ranging in size from $500K to $5MM.
• Must be able to run multiple small projects in parallel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Products, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Projects.
