RESPONSIBILITIES
· Overall responsibility for projects from inception to completion
· Produces competitive bids on selected projects
· Interact with Vendor reps to obtain pricing and register projects
· Hires and manages Project Engineers
· Reviews contract documents and requirements upon award
· Compiling submittal packages for approval by Owner/Architects
· Supplies accurate budgets and Contract values to accounting dept.
· Generates purchase orders promptly
· Responsible for all project-related correspondence
· Creates detailed work orders and coordinates installation schedule
· Interfaces with Warehouse personnel to ensure timely deliveries to site
· Reviews and approves all job-related A/P in a timely manner
· Participates in on-going evaluation and troubleshooting of projects to ensure good customer relations
· Produces timely, accurate project billings and may interface with General Contractor/Owner to ensure prompt payment of outstanding A/R
· Produces final closeout package including Warrantees, Overage Requirements, and Maintenance Information
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD HAVE
· 2+ years experience in commercial construction
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
· Excellent problem-solving skills
BENEFITS
This position is 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday inthe office. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401k and 1 week (first year) paid vacation annually. Salary $80,000 DOE
