Overview:We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong engineering background in mechanical systems and on-site equipment installation. The ideal candidate will independently oversee project schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and manage customer relationships to ensure successful equipment installation. This role requires hands-on problem-solving, leadership, and the ability to drive projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee installation of automated powder and liquid handling equipment at customer sites.
- Conduct technical reviews and coordinate project meetings with engineering, production, and quality teams.
- Assemble, optimize, and troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems.
- Manage and supervise mechanical and electrical contractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Verify customer site conditions, equipment status, and adherence to project scope.
- Ensure construction progress, quality control, and on-site safety management.
- Drive customer acceptance testing, implement corrective actions, and provide operational training.
- Maintain project documentation, reports, and site organization (5S principles).
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field).
- 2+ years of experience in equipment installation and project management.
- Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and manage complex installations.
- Physically able to navigate construction sites and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CAD, and Project Management software.
- Willingness to travel up to 90% across North America, with occasional international trips.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in Mandarin (spoken & written).
- Canadian with U.S. green card or dual .
