The Role



BCS Connect are seeking a dedicated Project Manager for our client to oversee major infrastructure works in Aylesbury. This **permanent position** offers an exciting opportunity to lead high-profile projects, with a particular focus on highways, earthworks, and **HS2-related projects**.



Key Responsibilities:



- Lead and manage project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and timely performance.



- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of highways and earthworks projects.



- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.



- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, project specifications, and environmental regulations.



- Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation effectively.



- Report on progress and provide solutions to any project challenges.



About You



To succeed in this role, you will need:



- Proven experience as a Project Manager in **highways and earthworks**.



- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and compliance standards.



- HS2 experience** is highly desirable.



- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.



- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under pressure.



Qualifications:



- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or CSCS Black Card (essential).



- Certification in Temporary Works Supervision/Coordination.



- Valid First Aid at Work certification.



- Strong technical background, ideally in civil engineering or a related discipline.

- Salary: Up to £75,000 per annum.
