Role: Project Manager\n Location: Covering multiple sites between Portsmouth and Southampton\n Salary: £45,000 + Car / Allowance\n\n Our client are currently recruiting for a Small Works Project Manager to manage a number of projects, spanning across 10 different MOD sites between Portsmouth and Southampton. You will be responsible for overseeing the effective, compliant and timely delivery of under £250k Billable Works.\n \nYou will be responsible for monitoring and managing the Supply Partners project teams to ensure that qualified and experienced operatives are directed to the correct tasks. This will include ensuring that they are correctly outfitted for the tasks, including appropriate vehicles, equipment, and skills, and ensuring that the delivery of works is to a high quality and worked safely.\n \nOther responsibilities for this role include:\n\nTo ensure that all documentation relating to billable works is distributed in a timely manner and recorded within the CAFM system\nTo ensure appropriate Billable work plans and budgets are in place to achieve programmes and financial commitments, whilst meeting the changing operational need\nTo ensure, as far as reasonably practical, that all persons on site observe the requirements of JSP 375, work closely with the Authorised Persons team to ensure compliance.\nTo keep regular contact with the Area Manager and the client, so they are provided with weekly progress reports and informed of all project risks or opportunities\nOverseeing the Early Warning Notification and Risk Reduction Meeting process\nIdentifying opportunities on establishments to support the sites Net Zero carbon reduction targets within Billable Works initiatives to achieve them\nManage cost and stakeholder expectation through excellent communication and sound commercial decisions to ensure value for money \nWhat you’ll need to do this role\n\nA HNC/D-level qualification in Building/Civil Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required, along with a solid background in construction Project Management (concept to completion).\nA management-level qualification in health and safety, such as SMSTS, Legionella or asbestos qualifications would be advantageous \nStrong IT SKils are a must\nExperience using a CAFM system would also be advantageous\nPackage\n\n£45,000 basic salary\nCar or Car allowance (£3600)\n6% employee matched pension contribution\nSingle private medical cover\nLife assurance 2 x salary\nRewards Hub
