These are fast-track, high-standards environments where attention to detail and the ability to lead a team are key.\n\nThe right Project Manager will have a background in shopfitting, ideally within a main contractor or fit-out specialist. You’ll need to be South Yorkshire-based, and enjoy the flexibility of hybrid working when not on-site or in meetings.\n\n What You’ll Be Doing – Project Manager Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Leading and delivering shopfitting projects up to £1m in value\n\n * \n\n Liaising with blue-chip retail clients and managing expectations\n\n * \n\n Overseeing all site activities to ensure deadlines are met\n\n * \n\n Coordinating trades, subcontractors, and suppliers\n\n * \n\n Managing health & safety, site compliance and best practices\n\n * \n\n Programming works and tracking progress\n\n * \n\n Budget control and reporting on cost performance\n\n * \n\n Conducting site meetings and reporting project updates\n\n * \n\n Managing site logistics and material deliveries\n\n * \n\n Resolving on-site issues and keeping works moving\n\n * \n\n Supporting project handovers and snagging\n\n * \n\n Ensuring a high standard of finish and client satisfaction\n\n What We’re Looking For\n\n * \n\n A proven Project Manager with shopfitting experience\n\n * \n\n Experience delivering fast-paced projects, ideally in food retail\n\n * \n\n Confident managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines\n\n * \n\n Solid understanding of fit-out logistics and subcontractor management\n\n * \n\n Based in South Yorkshire, with flexibility to travel to sites when needed\n\n * \n\n Strong leadership, communication, and organisation skills\n\n What You’ll Get\n\n * \n\n £55k–£60k basic salary (DOE)\n\n * \n\n Company car or allowance\n\n * \n\n Company performance bonus\n\n * \n\n Private healthcare & pension\n\n * \n\n Generous holiday entitlement\n\n * \n\n Hybrid working and flexible hours\n\n * \n\n Supportive, down-to-earth team environment\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity for a driven Project Manager to work with a blue-chip contractor known for its quality, reliability, and people-first culture.
