Abatec is assisting a Tier-1 contractor on the AMP8 Framework with the recruitment of a Freelance Project Manager. The successful candidate will have worked within the water sector and have experience of multi-disciplinary water and wastewater treatment works. This will integrate into the project delivery team and will include client facing factors.\n\nAs a Freelance Project Manager, you will:\n\n * Review and development of management pathways including subsequent reporting\n\n * Management of design consultants and Tier 1 contractors\n\n * Management of whole life cycle pre-construction to handover of projects\n\n * Reporting internally on finance and programme.\n\n * Engagement with communication team with both internal and external stakeholders\n\n * Managing change control.\n\nOur client requires a Freelance Project Manager with:\n\n * A background of working on water/utilities frameworks.\n\n * A good understating of construction health & safety protocols i.e.

Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.\n\n * Excellent communication, planning and organisation skills.\n\n * CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid\n\n * HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering\n\n * Full driving license to travel between sites.\n\nSalary and benefits include:\n\n£500-£600 PAYE Umbrella\n\nIf you would like more information, or to apply for this vacancy, please contact Matt Hughes on (phone number removed).
