Astute's Renewables Team is partnering with a key business and influential player in the UK Anaerobic Digestion market. The company are seeking a Project Manager with construction experience to join them to develop and build a portfolio of multi-year contracts and projects in the UK.\n\nThe Project Manager role comes with a salary of up to £80,000 depending on experience, plus car allowance and package\n\nIf you're an experienced Project Manager and are looking to work for an expanding business that are passionate about sustainability, then submit your CV to apply today.\n\nResponsibilities and duties\n\nSupported by the Senior Project Delivery Manager and Head of Engineering, you will:\n\nOutline and lead engineering on the projects from inception to completion of schemes\nThe timely completion of multiple concurrent projects, safely and within budget\nChair and attend internal and external review and progress meetings\nActive participant in Collaborative Planning\nChairs and attend engineering site visits/meetings\nAscertain preliminary and detailed design/project requirements and solutions\nPrepare technical specifications and document\nComplete contract documentation and manage the supply chain through the procurement, engineering, implementation, commissioning and handover phase\nManage site safety, health and environmental issues\nCo-ordinate and liaise with suppliers, specialist sub-contractors, in-house functions, site installations and construction teams\nProactively manage engineering risks and issues\nProcurement of plant, materials and specialist subcontractors\nAttend/undertake factory site and works testing, commissioning and client training\nCompile and collate final contract documentation, "As built" drawings, test sheets etc. for into operation and maintenance manuals\nManaging/overseeing the production of QA documentation including but not limited to ITPs, check sheet, FAT documentation and O&M's\nEstablishing and agreeing price variations and final accounts with the project QS\nOther duties as required\n\nProfessional qualifications\n\nWe are looking for someone with the following:\n\nHave a Bachelors or Master's degree or equivalent in Chemical, Process, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering or similar\nFull UK driving licence\n\nPersonal skills\n\nThe Project Manager role would suit someone who has:\n\nExperience in Anaerobic Digestion, biogas/biomethane, liquid organic waste management and biomethane injection would be beneficial.\nUnderstand anaerobic digestion and sludge.

Production of process calculations, Process flow diagrams and developing specifications. Been involved in process reviews such as HAZOPs and ALM's\nExperience working on new build plant projects circa £25million\nUnderstanding regulations and guidance for CNG, Biomethane, CO2 capture, DSEAR regulations and Biogas/biomethane technologies. Production of process calculations, Process flow diagrams and developing specifications.\nExperience in development of new and emerging technologies.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on working effectively in cross-functional teams at all levels of the company.\nSelf-motivated, with good organisational and time management skills.\nExcellent IT skills.
