Manage the full project life cycle for our clientsTop tier consultancyAuckland, New Zealand About the opportunity Our talented project management specialists collaborate with our clients to deliver critical property infrastructure projects in the Education, Local Government and Social Housing sectors. Joining our busy team, you’ll be supported by Senior Project Managers to manage the full project delivery life cycle for a range of projects and will primarily be responsible for: Developing effective client relationships and providing high quality solutionsManaging relationships with key stakeholders including statutory authorities, consultants, contractors and end-usersAssisting with the procurement of consultant and contractor teamsAttending client meetings and documenting project communicationsTracking and reporting on project deliverables, budgets, resourcing and timelinesManaging project documentation including preparation and issue of contract instructions and correspondenceSuccessfully delivering projects from inception to handover About You As a client- side project manager, you’ll thrive in a role that sees you building and managing your own client relationships with ease and confidence while delivering first class outcomes. You’ll also need to have: 5+ years’ experience in the industry of building design, construction and infrastructureA strong understanding of client-side project management principlesOutstanding planning and organisational skillsEnviable communication skills – written and verbalCommercial acumen and the ability to build strong relationships at all levelsA relevant tertiary qualification in project or construction management, engineering, architecture, quantity surveying or a relevant post graduate degree Ministry of Education and/or Local Government Authority experience while not essential, will be well regarded. Working Knowledge of NZ 3910–2013 and NZ 3916 form of contracts would also be an advantage.
