Job SummaryWe are seeking a hardworking and reliable Construction Project Manager to join our team. Our company specializes in providing temporary construction field facilities. Including but not limited to; mobile office buildings, toilets, dumpsters, portable fencing and all the services required to successfully run a construction site. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of facilitating the project including scheduling, coordination, setup, operations, demobilization and budget. The ideal candidate is extremely organized an has a basic knowledge of construction site operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the project
- Coordinate with other construction professionals to determine the specifications of the project
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors and suppliers
- Secure necessary permits and licenses.
- Ensure all professionals on site comply with building and safety regulations
- Schedule key deliverables and milestones and ensure progress is being made
- Coordinate subcontractors and outside contractors
- Be a direct contact to the customer and provide service as needed
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance
- Report on progress
- Identify and mitigate any potential issues that may arise
Qualifications
- Previous Project management experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Problem solver and self starter
- Understanding of construction site operations
- Basic knowledge of electrical service
- Strong leadership and crisis resolution skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and construction management software
- Ability to break large projects into small steps
