We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and knowledgeable Project Manager in London. In this role, you'll take the lead in overseeing the end-to-end management of Aparthotel development projects, from initial planning to successful completion. Key responsibilities include project planning, resource allocation, and meticulous timeline management. Your expertise will be fully utilised as you coordinate and facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and clients. Monitoring project progress, managing budgets, and ensuring alignment with project goals are integral components of this role. What you can do for us

    \n
  • Perform the duties of the Client’s Representative during the planning and Construction phases of Aparthotel
  • \n

  • Attend monthly site meetings and produce accurate and professional records and reports
  • \n

  • Ensure a smooth and timely flow of information between all parties to the contract
  • \n

  • Endeavour to identify and predict potential bottlenecks and delays and action remedies
  • \n

  • Establish and monitor the construction programme.
  • \n

  • Check and understand all drawings and specifications. Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in timely manner.
  • \n

  • Co-ordinate the activities of External Consultants as required e.g. Monitoring Surveyor, M&E consultants, architects, Acoustics specialist
  • \n

  • Work closely with multiple teams across the Staycity Organization e.g. Design Team, Openings Team, and Operations Team to ensure on-time completion of project
  • \n

  • Act as the point of contact for all stakeholders in relation to the project and make management aware of any issues arising on-site
  • \n

  • Supervision of all planning and execution services relevant to the tenant
  • \n

  • Maintain maximum cost effectiveness through efficient use of resources.
  • \n

  • Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, building regulations and good building practices.
  • \n

  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • \n

  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
  • \n

  • Manage commercial aspects of the project e.g. variations, POs and capital expenditure
  • \n

  • Identify and manage project risks
  • \n

  • Ensure compliance with Staycity's project management standards and procedures
  • \n

  • Lead the development and improvement of project management processes.
  • \n

Required Skills and Experience

    \n
  • Primary degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Studies, Architecture or similar is essential
  • \n

  • 5+ years experience in a professional project management role.
  • \n

  • Proven Project Management Skills and experience are required
  • \n

  • Field (Construction Site) Management Experience would be ideal
  • \n

  • Commercial and contract management experience is required
  • \n

  • Change management and project controls (cost and time) management experience are required
  • \n

  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office.
  • \n

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • \n

  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • \n

  • Must have strong people management skills and be able to work within a diverse multidisciplinary program/project team
  • \n
