Well-established, growing, reputable construction company has an immediate opportunity for a Project Manager. The steady, rapid growth of our company has created the need to hire someone who can step in and immediately run projects. The successful candidate will have strong leadership abilities, bilingual (English/Spanish) detail oriented for complete finish package, a passion for timeliness and excellence, and the ability to communicate to all levels in an organization. Five (5) plus years of experience in residential, and/or commercial construction and verifiable excellent management skills may qualify you for this position.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee and manage projects from contract signing through completion.
  • Develop and monitor project schedules, ensuring that deadlines are met within budget.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to ensure work is completed according to scope and standards.
  • Manage project budgets, controlling costs and improving profitability.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, providing updates and addressing concerns throughout the project.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Provide accurate project reporting and documentation.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies for cost reduction and improved efficiency.
  • Ability to assume total responsibility from receipt of the bank budget and signed contract through to completion and final payment
  • Provide leadership and direction to field superintendents
  • Ensure effective management and scheduling sub-contractors to complete all projects on-time and within budget
  • Guarantee that all projects meet the high quality standards required by our company
  • Responsible for monitoring profitability of jobs
  • Management by example with the ability to solve practical problems
  • Professional aptitude to attend job site meetings and interact with financial institutions, customers, employees, vendors and project team members
  • Ensure that strict safety standards are followed at all times

 

Essential Qualifications:

 

  • Five (5) years of experience as a Project Manager in both the residential and commercial construction industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field ().
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing project budgets and cost controls.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations.
  • Specific experience in detailed finish packages with interior, demo’s and rebuilds
  • Experience in managing projects at or below budget.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage subcontractors, craftsmen and vendors.
  • Verifiable success at forecasting material, equipment and manpower needs.
  • Self-Motivated with the desire to function independently.
  • A passion for quality, timely work within budgeted guidelines.
  • Must meet MVR requirements
