Project Manager (Construction) - Randstad

Randstad is excited to be partnering with a market leading manufacturer and Engineering company, supporting them on their next stage of organic growth. Our client develops and engineers products for the Government and for Land based military use in the Inner Western Suburbs of Melbourne. Randstad has been given the exclusive opportunity to support them in their search for a Project Manager. This position of the Project Manager will be responsible for the control and management of projects from start to finish of Verification and Validation, as assigned by the Program Manager. We are looking for someone who is capable of giving direction, comfortable and experienced with client interactions and has a strong ability to lead teams whilst also working autonomously. About the role: Delivery of assigned projects on-schedule, to specification, to the assigned budget and in accordance with the contract - experience managing relevant projects from “cradle to grave” Planning, reviewing, coordinating and reporting project resources to meet project demand, ensuring resources are utilized effectively and efficiently Managing the customer relationship as required to address arising issues and ensuring customer satisfaction Working closely with the Project Delivery Manager ensuring a smooth transition between development to production. Liaising with all cross functional teams including Engineering, Supply chain, and sales to ensure projects are delivered in accordance What you will bring: A degree (or diploma) in Science, Engineering or a Project Management discipline At least 2 years professional experience in design, development, manufacturing and training in a production environment Proven experience in project and/or production management Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment Security Clearance (Negative Vetting Level 1 – NV1) Sound like the perfect fit for you?
