Project Manager - Engineer Internship

DNV has a wide experience in consulting in the Brazilian solar industry, providing since 2012, a diverse range of services, including prospection of new areas, measurement campaign monitoring, energy production assessments for auctions and financing, assessment of solar farm operation and due diligences.DNV is seeking a highly motivated student, wiling to learn and to start his/her professional development in the solar industry. The position would be part-time position reporting to the Solar Team Leader for Latam, located at the Porto Alegre office.The Student will support the Solar Team with tasks related to unit internal organization and development as well as daily work for Clients.The engineer will learn and be exposed to:· Solar technology and design· Solar market information· Project management and control· Financing processes for solar projects· Energy simulation software· Participation in regular staff meetingsJob Responsabilities· Unit internal organization. As part of the support to be provided to the Solar Team, the Intern will be involved in tasks related to internal procedures development, benchmark analysis, contact with clients, general templates preparation, internal knowledge management and market intelligence.· Direct Project work. As part of the daily work, it is expected that the Student will support in project management and control, technical advisory tasks which may include project economic and technical analysis, data analytics and energy simulation to determine project performance and component behavior as well as preparing and delivering reports. Diversity is fundamental to our culture and we invite you to be part of this diversity. · Bachelor’s degree in engineering (graduation date to occur between June 2026 - January 2027) · No professional experience in the solar sector is required but advisable ; · Previous knowledge on renewable energy technologies (preferred solar) will be positive; · Previous knowledge on renewable energy policy and solar PV will be also positive; · Must have good written and verbal communications skills, including ability to write clear and detailed technical reports, presentations and emails; · Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; · Support independent qualitative and quantitative analysis; · Soft skills: independent, organized, assertive, proactive, self-motivated, good communication skills, open for new challenges, flexible and open for learn. · Fluent in English
