Pay & Benefits $65,000 - $70,000 annual salary $10,000 - $20,000 annual performance-based bonus Flexible work-from-home policy Health coverage Matching 401k Company vehicle Work Responsibilities As a project manager for Lamont Bros., your job is to assist in the design of projects, estimate their costs, build the schedule and oversee the logistical side of remodeling projects while in production. Because you'll be managing several projects at once, you'll work closely with our remodeling superintendents , each of whom manages the day-to-day operations at one jobsite. The project manager position is a challenging and multi-faceted position. You'll handle many of the administrative tasks associated with a home remodeling project, including: Assemble budget estimates based on design plans Create construction schedules for remodeling projects Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors Understand permitting and jurisdictional requirements Conduct internal review, pre-construction, and site-walk meetings Coordinate between design team, production staff, subcontractors, and clients The Lamont Bros difference We work in our client's homes every day--and most of them live through the remodeling process. A project manager can expect to work on kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, additions, ADUs, and whole-home renovations. In this role, you'll be expected to balance work on multiple projects in an organized, efficient manner. To succeed as a project manager for Lamont Bros., you'll need excellent communication skills, a thorough understanding of construction best practices, and strong organizational habits. The ideal candidate for this position will have: 3+ years of experience as a project manager in residential construction Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field Ability to manage a flexible workflow and meet deadlines Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Understanding of building code in and around Portland, OR Experience in jobsite hazard assessment Knowledge of construction best practices including Concrete Framing Cabinetry Tile Flooring Drywall Finish carpentry Basic understanding of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and gas
