Project Manager (Finance)

Job Description

Our client, a Global FMCG brand, are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the project stays on track, within budget and meets key milestones while delivering high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain the project's financial data by reviewing budget forecasts and actuals monthly
• Regularly update financial forecasts (latest estimates - LE) to reflect current spending estimates and project phasing ensuring that weekly updates are provided to keep the project on track
• LE vs LA analysis - conduct ongoing analysis to identify areas where estimates are budget and mitigate risks when estimates exceed budget
• Forecast resource utilisation and ensure timesheet recharges are accurately reflected in project costs to manage expenses
• Maintain focus on timelines, scope and budgetary constraints, ensuring that the project continues to progress smoothly and within scope
• Project risk management
• Stakeholder management

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills including analysing budgets, financial forecasts and variances
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in handling inflight projects and the ability to work within a fast paced environment to ensure project goals are met

This is an Outside IR35 contract opportunity with a hybrid working model.
