PROJECT MANAGER - SHOP FIT OUT - ST NEOTS
A growing shop fit out interiors contractor are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. They are based in St Neots with projects across London & South East which are fast paced retail fit out projects that you will oversee. Genuine progression and a career path to be had with this company
Location: St Neots office and sites across London & South East
Projects: Shop fit out, retaurants etc
Duties:
* Extraction of information from construction drawings
* Development and implementation of a project programme
* Appointment of Sub-Contractors as advised by the Operations Director and Estimator
* Management of the procurement process for the project
* Management of site labour
* Conducting pre-start meetings and weekly site meetings and producing weekly site meetings as necessary
* Ensure liaison with the Site Manager to ensure that construction complies with current Building Regulations
* Management and reporting of all project costs, variations and performance against the budget
* Management of site Health & Safety in line with current regulations including CDM and company policy. This includes conducting weekly site inspections, reporting to the company management team
* Weekly reporting on all aspects of the project to the Operations Director in a weekly progress meeting
* Sending job cost sheets weekly to the companies MD and Finance Manager – showing predicted Margin – Sales Invoice Dates and Costs
* Ability to confidently build strong working relationships with clients and key stakeholders
* Review Site Managers’ weekly progress and status reports and liaise with other Department Heads to resolve any delays or issues identified
* Manage risk and contingency planning, report where necessary
* Liaise with the Technical and Design Departments to consider cost effective construction processes at both the design and construction phases
* Monitor all Customer Satisfaction Surveys and Summary Reports, to ensure that trends are recognised, and the appropriate action taken to improve performance
