As a result our people get to enjoy working on some of the most exciting projects in the world.Job DescriptionThe main purpose of this role is to manage the Ground Site Investigation (GSI) and the Landowner Engagement activities. The PM will act as the subject matter expert and the focus will be on: i) liaising with consultants and GSI contractors to complete the factual reports that will inform the planning submissions and detail designs, and ii) liaising with the Client's public engagement and legal team and with consultants to complete and issue the landowner agreements.Responsibilities will include leading significant infrastructure delivery will involve leading the development of the overall approach for the programme, its major timeframes and the definition of major deliverables to address and meet the desired goals and outcomes within large projects, defining and maintaining realistic project plans, monitoring progress against agreed quality and performance criteria ensuring programmes of work are correctly allocated and resourced. This will include ensuring that appropriate project controls are in place within the team having regard to budgets, schedule, quality, risk and activity monitoring. This will include the setup of some of these structures/processes.Ensure a clear understanding of goals and objectives.Managing lead consultant to deliver required deliverables within the agreed timeframe.Identifying and managing Stakeholders and ensuring regular and timely communications at all levels.Managing Risks and Issues and escalate appropriately.Preparing and maintaining project documentation including, Programmes, Project reports, Risk Register, Issue Register, Daily Log, etc.Managing Change Control procedures and Programme Governance and ensuring Project Boards are set up and working effectively.Procuring GSI contractors via existing frameworks in collaboration with Client's procurement team.Collaborating with GSI contractors and consultants to deliver ground investigations safely and to programme and budget.QualificationsYou will have an Engineering degree/ technically biased degree, typically with 5+ years relevant experience.Work from Client's Dublin office up to 2 days a week, with requirement to attend site when necessaryPower system industry expertise, utilities / construction experience along with the ability to adapt, innovate and meet changing demands.High level of experience with geotechnical investigation works, with a thorough understanding of all steps requiredExperience in delivering Compulsory Purchase Order and/or landowner agreements in large infrastructure projects.Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop, communicate and “sell” programme objectives.High degree of political sensitivity, astuteness and the ability to work across all levels of our organisation to achieve programme success and overcome potential obstacles.Knowledge of the industry, environment and context, experience working within a similar regulated utility environment and/or experience introducing new concepts, processes and ways of doing things would be beneficial.Excellent communication and written skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.Commercial awareness with the ability to make decisions and recommendations in all aspects of project implementation.Full, clean drivers licence.Additional InformationWhat we offer you:Full time, permanentCompetitive remuneration and attractive range of benefits8% Pension contribution25 days Annual leave (23 days + 2 company days)1 volunteering day Gym discount Company funded social club Opportunity to work on impactful and innovative projectsCareer development opportunities both in Ireland and globallyOpportunity to work with a diverse group of talented and collaborative colleaguesOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
