Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage capital construction projects, including natural gas compressor upgrades and maintenance.
- Oversee the execution of projects from planning to completion within scope, budget, and schedule.
- Develop and maintain project tracking systems for updates and reporting.
- Review and negotiate bids, select contractors, and manage contracts.
- Handle change orders and ensure alignment with project goals and budgets.
- Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure project alignment with technical specifications.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including an assigned Project Manager, for seamless execution.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while promoting a diverse and safe work environment.
- Ensuring Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) processes and timelines are being met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Civil, or related field).
- Minimum 3–8 years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years managing capital projects at a gas utility.
- Proven track record managing large-scale construction projects ($5–$80 million).
- Strong skills in contracts management, bid reviews, and contractor selection.
