Salary Range / Rate: $70-$85/hr (USD)
What the Job Is About: This job is for an experienced Project Manager to help lead big improvement projects at a nuclear power plant. These projects involve upgrading equipment like chillers and cranes, as part of extending the life of the plant.

Note: if you're coming from out of town, there's a per diem of $100 per day (up to $700 per week). However, travel costs like mobilization and demobilization aren't covered.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead large technical projects from beginning to end (planning to completion)
• Work directly on-site at the power plant (being local is a big plus)
• Work closely with engineers, contractors, and leadership to keep the project on schedule and on budget
• Manage risks and solve problems as they come up
• Communicate updates and progress clearly to different teams and leaders
• Possibly travel once in a while to Innsbrook, VA

What You Must Have:

• Experience managing large projects at a nuclear power plant
• Experience with HVAC or chiller systems projects
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate between multiple groups
• Strong communication skills
• Must be able to work on-site (not a remote job)
• At least 7 years of experience in the nuclear industry, with 3 years of project management
