Project Manager – for our Develop and Optimize organization!

Your challengesAs our new project manager you will be employed at our Østbirk location and report into Jens Kirkegaard Jakobsen, Manager (P&PE Manager). Here you will join a group of project managers, who run and support projects across several functions in VELUX and VELUX Commercial – with one aim: to make the best possible products for our end-customers. We are mainly dedicated to projects within new product launches, product development and product upgrades.As Project Manager, you will:Lead stage gate & execution projects: Plan, budget, risk management, leadership within projects.Handle communication of and within projects – written, graphically and spoken.Potentially lead large projects which include the functional leadership of other project managers.Act as a role model for other project managers, showing your high performance mindset.You should consider approximately 20 days of travelling per year, mainly within Europe.Your qualificationsIt is required that youBring prior experience as Project Manager handling projects in a stage gate model.Have minimum 3 years of experience within a product development end-to-end environment.Bring relevant education or certification, perhaps within project management or leadership.Speak and write English fluently. It is a benefit if you speak and understand German as well, but it is not a requirement.As a person, you are a team player with a proactive and pragmatic approach to problem solving. You are able to interact with and effectively communicate to all levels of our organisation. At the same time, you are able to manage several tasks in parallel.You value working in a project-oriented culture where feedback and collaboration are crucial.
