Job DescriptionJob Description

Main things we're looking for in a project/program manager candidate:

·         Stage-gate experience, working within a structured product development process

·         Waterfall experience needed instead of Agile (IT related)…no software project managers

·         PMP preferred

·         Technical degree highly preferred (Engineering)

·         Experience in NPD – New Product Development

·         5 or more years as a project/program manager leading teams (directly or indirectly)

·         Supervisory/Managerial experience preferred (let’s talk about this further)

·         HVAC experience preferred

·         Experience working for an OEM/Manufacturing company

·         Experience working on NPD projects…project durations ranging from 6 mths to multi-year (1-3 years)

o    Leading cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, Marketing, Quality, etc.)

o    Developing highly detailed schedules, identifying and mitigating risks, communicating to upper management (directors and above) on a frequent basis

·         Proficiency in project management tools (i.e. JIRA, Monday.com, MsProject, Daptiv, PowerBI, SmartSheet, etc.)
