Project Manager – Renewable Energy
Based Honolulu, Hawaii - Onsite or local hybrid
An innovative renewable energy company is looking for a Project Manager or Project Engineer for a role based on Oahu, Hawaii. The business has some exciting in-house technology in battery storage, solar PV, and energy management.
With career progression, an entrepreneurial culture, and bespoke technology, this role would suit a person who has an engineering background with understanding of solar, energy storage and/or microgrid experience.

EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
- Must have hands-on technical experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
- Should be eager to learn, self-motivated.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil or Electrical). PE a bonus.
- Technology/Product/Other knowledge and skills
- Experience implementing microgrid projects.
- Understanding of containerized battery systems, SCADA, transformers and combiners.
- Familiar with existing and upcoming electrical and mechanical codes and standards.
- Customer focused, capable of changing perspectives, problem solving, and adapting.
- Good project management skills to lead projects to completion.
- Ability to work closely with and influence cross-functional teams.
- Self-starter that can work both individually and in a group setting
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary $90,000—$120,000.
- Performance-based incentives 25%.
