Project Manager Scrum Master

Job Description

This is a new role for an experienced Scrum Master to join an innovative Technology Solutions Company with close ties to the utilities and energy sectors.

Due to the considerable demand for their services, they are continuing to expand their team with the addition of a Scrum Master to help keep everything running smoothly, ensuring their teams are empowered to deliver their best work.

The person in this role will be asked to:-

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Remove obstacles that could slow down the team and ensure smooth sprint execution.
• Foster a collaborative and open team environment, ensuring continuous improvement in our processes.
• Keep the team focused on goals and help manage the product backlog.
• Plan, track, and manage project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and priorities.
• Monitor project risks and issues, creating action plans to address them before they become blockers.
• Communicate project status updates to internal teams and external stakeholders.

And should have experience of:

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master and/or Project Manager (ideally 3+ years).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills—you know how to keep teams on the same page.
• Experience with agile tools.
• A knack for juggling multiple tasks and keeping projects on track from start to finish.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Scrum certification (CSM or equivalent) would be helpful.
